20130929　アースデイ信州 Earth day SHINSYU

アースデイ信州が松本城で開かれました。(毎週、松本城にいってるな > 私)
The earthday was held in Matsumoto Castle.  　

家族連れが多いんですが、若い人たちも多いです。
A family companion is there a lot, and there are also many young men.
 

その若い人たちのファッションが、なんと言うか、普通に街を歩いている人たちとやっぱ違うんですね。

アウトドアぽいと言うよりも、色使いがアジア、アフリカの民族衣装ぽい人が多いんですよ。

好きだなー。そういうの。
The fashion of young people who are here differs from the people of the town.
The people's fashion is subject to the influence of Asia or Africa.
I like it.

沢山のお店で自然食品などを売っていますが、メカ好きの私が注目したのは、
I observed the following thing. 

車いすを人力車に変えるアタッチメント！　
It is equipment which converts a wheelchair into a man-pulled cart.
 

車いすに乗った事の無い私に向かって、スタッフさんが"乗ってみますか？"
I had not sat in a wheelchair once. The staff of the booth recommended to try on me.

まず、砂利道を普通に押してもらいます。小さな前輪がガタガタ振動を拾って実に不快です。
If a gravel road is run with a wheelchair, an unpleasant vibration will occur.
 

更に砂利が深いと前輪が埋まって動けなくなってしまいました。
And if a gravel road is deep, a wheelchair will stop.
 

そこで、アタッチメントを下ろして持ちあげてもらうと、人力車に早変わり。
It will be changed into a man-pulled cart if an attachment is taken down downward.
 

前輪が浮いた瞬間、ふわっとした乗り心地になり、砂利道でも快適です。まさに人力車です。
If it changes into a man-pulled cart, it is comfortable also in a gravel road.
 

屋外の公園などでは乗る人も引く人(押す人改め)も楽に移動できます。
If this is used in an outdoor park, it will be comfortable. 

世の中の車いすに標準装備されればいいのになー。
I expect that this equipment will be equipped all the wheelchairs. 

福島から来たボランティアの人たちのブースもありました。

これはいわきフェニックスのリストバンド
Volunteers were coming to other Booth from Fukushima Prefecture (place which the accident of the nuclear power plant generated).
This is a wristband of IWAKI-PHOENIX.

20130923 カスティールサイクルクロスマツモト KASTEEL CYCLECROSS MATSUMOTO

国宝松本城でシクロクロスレース(自転車での障害レースみたいなもんです)が開催されました。
The bicycle race was held in Matsumoto Castle which is a national treasure.
It race is CYCROCROSS.

シケインと呼ばれる障害物を設置したコースの周回タイムを競います。
A race is performed through the course in which the obstacle called a chicane was aranged.

お城の中にコースを造るのは日本ではここだけの様で、当日は日本を代表するレーサーが集まりました。
Only one race is carried out at a castle in Japan. Therefore, the Japanese top racer came.

レースに先立って、一般市民もコースを試走できるとの事で、私もマウンテンバイクで試走してきました。
Ordinary cyclists can also run before a race. I ran with the mountain bike.

階段あり、砂場あり、急斜面ありと...
Stairs, the sandbox, and the steep incline existed there. 

すげー、面白いです。クロス車買って、私もやってみたい！
It is very interesting. I thought that I would like to purchase CYCROCROSS-BIKE. 

写真はお堀の前のシケインを自転車を担いでクリアするレーサー達。こけるとお堀に落ちます。(そんな人いないって!)
A chicane is beside a ditch. When it fails, it may fall to a ditch.

20130922　カーフリーデー2013 in 松本　CAR Free day 2013 in Matsumoto

参加１０周年になる、松本カーフリーデーが開催されました。
The Matsumoto car-free day was held.  It is the 10th anniversary.

ヨーロッパ発祥のカーフリーデーですが、日本からの正式参加は2004年の松本市(と横浜、名古屋)が最初です。
The car-free day was started in Europe.  The cities held first in Japan are Matsumoto, Yokohama, and Nagoya in 2004.

今では恒例の、当たり前、の年間行事となってしまったせいか、最初の頃に比べて盛り上がりに少し欠けるかも。
It is held every year. It is a natural event.

でも、カーフリーデーが当たり前になった事が一番の成果かもしれない。
Having come to be held naturally are the main results. 



公共交通機関が発達していない、マイカーが無くては暮らしていけない地方都市で、こんな事が出来る事がすばらしいんです。来年も開催してね。
The local public transportation facility is seldom developed. In the Matsumoto city, if there is no private car, a life will become inconvenient.
However, it is wonderful that a car-free day is held in such a local city.

20130913　お祭り Autumn festival

我が地域のお祭りがありました。舞台と呼ばれる山車をみんなで引っ張って町内を回った後、神社に奉納します。
The autumn festival was held. The cart called BUTAI is moved. And it dedicates to a shrine.

祭りのクライマックスは、舞台を拝殿に向かって舞台をぶつけます。過去にはけが人が出た事も...
The climax of a festival is making BUTAI collide with an oratory.  There is a person injured in the past.

台風の影響で神社に入れないか心配されましたが、無事入れる事が出来ました。
Since the typhoon came, I was worried.  However, BUTAI was safely carried in into the shrine.

今年も頑張って引っ張ったぞー！　ふう、疲れた。 
I tried hard and pulled BUTAI.  I was tired.
