CEATEC Report 2014

デバイス部門は基本的に撮影禁止なのでコンシューマ部門だけレポートです。

Device section is inhibit for photograph.Then I did only report by  consumer section.

会場は2ホールだけです。去年の様に自動運転のエリアはありません。

This year's CEATEC is 2 Hall. But ,Last year's CEATEC had 2 hall plus Auto driving area.

うーん。自動運転はGoogleとかにやられっぱなしじゃん。もっときばらんかい！日本のメーカー！

Automatic operation is excellent in the technology of GOOGLE. I want the Japanese company to do my best.

おおっと。何かに座った人たちがやって来ましたよ。これはホンダ版のセグウェイ。どっちがクールかと言うと…　私はノーコメントとさせてください。

Wow! Same people come in here, and they are sitting on something.It's a Honda's vehicle,like  SEGWAY.

おっと、今年のエプソンはいつもと違うぞ！

スマートグラスを見てきました。実物は以外と軽く、表示も綺麗です。

但し、バッテリーがかさばるので、Google glassの様な使い方じゃなく、お家で映画見たりするのが良さげです。

Wow! This year's EPSON booth is different from last year.

I looked at the smart glass.It is a little light.And,a Display is fine.

But,a battery is outside.So,I think it will use in home theater.

オムロンの卓球ロボット。噂どうり、すごいです。本当の卓球選手みたいにラケットを縦に構えて待っていて、相手(人間)が玉を打ってから、軌道を計算しラケットを動かします。

私は、ロボットよりも制御系がどうなっているか、コントローラをじっくり見たかったのですが、(みんな卓球を見てるのに)、一人だけジロジロとコントローラだけを見ているのはとても恥ずかしかったです。

This is table tennis robot by OMRON.It's great.It's like professional table tennis player.

After the ball from being hit,it will start the orbital calculation and move the racket.

Now,my interest is a controller than the robot.

Therefore, I do not look at the robot, I had look at only the controller.

注目は、Huaweiのtalk bandです。

こいつはなかなか完成度が高いです。基本的には活動量計です。

しかし、電話が着信すると相手をディスプレイに表示し、バイブで知らせます。

さらに、ボタンを押すと本体がリストバンドから外れ、ナント、bluetoothのヘッドセットになるんです。かっこいい。

しかし、私が感心したのは充電の仕方。リストバンドの先端をめくるとUSB端子が出てきます。これが実にスマート。

他のメーカーの活動量計はクレードル経由なのですが、この方が絶対使いやすい！非接触充電になるまでは、このやり方が正解でしょう。

残念なのは、これがこういうアイデアが日本のメーカーから出ない事。

I was focused Huawei's TalkBand. It is good activity meter.

When I received a phone call it will vibrate and displayed name.

In addition, it is separated from wristband, it is used as a headset. It's cool.

However,I impressed from charge system.USB connector is attached to the tip of the wristband. It is very easy to use.Charging system of other companies use the cradle.

I'm disappointing feeling,Because it is not Japanese product.
